The huge brick cone of the Old Glassworks at Lemington is easy to spot. If you are heading from Newcastle along the Scotswood Road towards Newburn you can see it in the distance as you pass under the A1 Western By-pass after the B&Q roundabout. Immediately before the cone, turn left down the hill into Glassworks Business Units. Coming from Throckley in the opposite direction, obviously turn right immediately after the cone.

If you're coming by public transport, Lemington is well served by buses. The Number 22 runs frequently from Central Station and stops just two minutes walk from here. Get off at Lemington shops and walk down across the cycle path and the main road into Glassworks Business Units. Check www.traveline.info or 0870 6082680 for bus times.
